About Us
We started off with a small group of Indian Runner Ducklings and fell in love with ducks. We have a real passion for keeping Waterfowl and get a lot of satisfaction from raising them and watching them grow. Our main aim is to do right by the breed and our ducks.

About the Breed

Indian Runners
The Indian runner duck is one of the most recognizable duck breeds due to its vertical posture. Derived from the wild mallard, they were found on Indonesian Islands and later imported to Europe.
They stand erect and tall, can run upright rather than waddle and do not fly so are ideal for free ranging within boundary lines. They are known to be prolific egg layers, laying between 250-300 eggs a year.
The breeds tends to be a little bit cautious and apprehensive so we find it’s best to let them approach. They will be especially interested if a treat is on offer.
