Water

Whilst all ducks love water, the most important thing is water deep enough for them to clean their nostrils. It could be anything from a plastic bucket to a purpose built pond. Any younger ducklings should be supervised in any deep water and ensure they have access to a heat source after, if not yet feathered.

Welfare

We will only sell ducklings at a minimum quantity of 3. This is because ducks are social creatures and generally thrive in a group of 3 and above. You should generally aim to have at least 4 ducks to every drake, although every drake has a different temperament. Drakes kept in a bachelor flock will also thrive but you won’t get any eggs!
